Setting the new standard regionally for breast cancer care
Our breast cancer program is part of the OHSU Cancer Institute, the only one in Oregon that’s NCI-certified. We’re an interdisciplinary clinic, which means that in a single appointment you’ll meet with breast cancer specialists in surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, plastic surgery and genetic counseling. And you’ll leave that appointment with a treatment plan. No other place in Oregon does this.
What’s more, your specialists are not only experts in their fields, they’re also medical researchers, developing the latest treatments and technologies and advancing the practice of cancer medicine for everyone. They can even offer you participation in state-of-the-art clinical trials.
All of this is coordinated by Martha McInnes, the nurse in charge of the Comprehensive Breast Cancer Clinic. She’s the first person you’ll meet, and she’ll be with you every step of the way.
